Training modules and seminars
AGRIDEA is the leader in training GI stakeholders in Switzerland, Europe and other countries. We take part in the objectives of a sustainable agriculture through an approach which takes into account the economic, social and environmental aspects of this sector.
International Training Module on Geographical Indications
In order to acquire knowledge and methods on food labelling, rural development and supply chain management with Geographical Indications, this courses are ofeered once a year.
They allow the participants to:
- Meet stakeholders of the international debates on Geographic Indications, actors of supply chains, national and local administrators of GI registrations, producers, processors and directors of interprofessional bodies of GI products;
- Debate on GI issues, supply chain organisations and traditionnal products with researchers and stakeholders.
Discovering food quality policies in Europe and Switzerland
These study trips are adressed to anybody working with quality and origin products, PDOs and PGIs, terroir marks, certification and controls...Their aim is :
- to better undertsand how quality products policies work in different region of Europe and in Switzerland,
- to meet professional stakeholders and people involved in the subject in the region concerned,
- to have a better knowledge of control and certification mechanisms for quality and origin products in the region studied,
- to undertsand the relationships between alimentation and food production.
- Farms and firms are visited and participants get the opportunity to meet and discuss with experts and profesionnals
