Rural Development News

The Rural Development News (eRDN) is an electronic information magazine for rural development practitioners and all those interested in subjects related to rural development. It is published twice a year by the Swiss Centre for Developing Agriculture and Rural Areas (AGRIDEA).

The eRDN gathers experiences, insights, ideas and approaches in the domain of rural development and makes them available to a broad spectrum of readers. It is appreciated as a source of practice-oriented news, thematic knowledge and expertise, as well for its new ideas and innovative approaches.

The printed RDN (previous BeraterInnen News) has been supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) for 25 years. Many thanks to SDC!

We encourage you to contribute to the eRDN with your experiences and ideas in rural development and provide you with the opportunity to share them with a wider audience. Write them up and send them to us! Also let us know the most burning issues in your daily work! This will provide us with ideas for focus themes to cover in future issues.

The editors take care to ensure that the contents of this magazine are as accurate as possible. The ownership, however, is with the authors of the contributions and the articles do not necessarily reflect the publishers’ point of view.
